MOLSHEIM , a See also:

town of See also:Germany, in the imperial See also:province of See also:Alsace-See also:Lorraine at the See also:foot of the See also:Vosges, on the Breusch and at the junction of See also:railways to See also:Zabern and See also:Strassburg. Pop. (1905), 3164. It contains a beautiful See also:Roman See also:Catholic and a See also:Protestant See also:church, a handsome new town-See also:hall and an agricultural school. Its See also:industries embrace the manufacture of See also:iron and See also:steel goods, tanning and See also:organ-See also:building. There is also some See also:trade in See also:wine. Molsheim was known in the 9th See also:century as Molleshem, and formerly was the seat of a famous Jesuit See also:college, which in 1702 was removed to Strassburg and See also:united with the university of that See also:city.
