The See also:town lies on an See also:eminence, on the shores of Warrnambool See also:Bay, in a See also:rich See also:pastoral and agricultural See also:district. See also:Race meetings are held here, and the See also:steeplechase course is considered the finest in the See also:colony. Warrnambool has a See also:fine See also:port with a viaduct and See also:breakwater See also:pier 2400 ft. in length, and a See also:jetty 86o ft. in length, on to which the railway runs.
