But this See also:plan came to nothing, and in See also:September 879 the See also:brothers were crowned at Ferrieres by Ansegisus, See also:archbishop of See also:Sens. A few months later they divided their See also:kingdom, Louis receiving the See also:part of France See also:north of the See also:Loire. They acted together against the Northmen, over whom in See also:August 881 they gained a memorable victory. They also turned against Boso who had been set up as king in See also:Burgundy and See also:Provence. On the 5th of August 882 Louis died at St See also:Denis.
