He took See also:part in See also:Wolfe's expedition against See also:Quebec, and on the 4th of See also:October 1759 he destroyed an See also:Abnaki See also:Indian See also:village on the St See also:Francis See also:river near its mouth and killed about 200 of its inhabitants. After the See also:Montreal See also:campaign of 176o, in which he served, he was sent by See also:General See also:Amherst to take See also:possession of the See also:north-western posts, occupied See also:Detroit on the 29th of See also:November, and later returned to the See also:east.
