(1900) 23,294. The town has handsome See also:modern public buildings, including the town See also:hall, See also:schools for See also:primary and higher See also:education, hospitals and theatres. See also:Cloth, See also:linen, See also:paper, See also:flour and See also:brandy are manufactured, and there are See also:iron foundries and saw-See also:mills. About See also:half the inhabitants are employed in the textile factories. Sabadell is said to be the See also:Roman Sebendunum, but in See also:Spanish See also:annals it is not noticed until the 13th See also:century.
