Additional information and Comments
I have a lithograph plate by Gilbert Gaul, dated l887, of a third baseman holding up his glove awaiting a baseball with a runner approaching the base. In the background are several other players and what appears to be a clubhouse. It is in perfect condition. His signature and date are in the lower righthand corner 'Gaul 1887'. Was this a medium Mr. Gaul worked in? Can you comment on this? Thank you Mike Harrigan
