GWEEDORE , a See also:

hamlet and tourist resort of Co. See also:Donegal, See also:Ireland, on the See also:Londonderry & Lough Swilly & See also:Letterkenny railway. The See also:river Clady, See also:running past the See also:village from the Nacung Loughs, affords See also:salmon and See also:trout fishing. The See also:fine surrounding scenery culminates to the See also:east in the See also:wild See also:mountain Errigal (2466 ft.) at the upper end of the loughs. The See also:place owes its popularity as a resort to See also:Lord See also:George See also:Hill (d. 1899), who also laboured for the amelioration of the conditions of the peasantry on his See also:estate, and combated the See also:Rundale See also:system of See also:minute repartition of See also:property.
