This is the See also:port of the Mt See also:Orange and Mt Gotthart See also:copper mines, and the Mt Britten and Eungella See also:gold-See also:fields. It is a calling-station for the Queensland royal See also:mail steamers. The See also:town is named after See also:Captain See also:John Mackay, who discovered the harbour in 186o.
