MOUFLON .—See also:

Size 30X15 in. Is a See also:sheep found in See also:Russia and See also:Corsica and now very little in demand, and but few are imported into See also:Great See also:Britain. Many Mongolian goats with the See also:long hairs pulled out are sold as mouflon. Value 4s. to Ios. 6d. See also:MusK-Ox.—Size 6X3 ft. These animals have a dense coat of See also:fine, long See also:brown See also:wool, with very long dark brown See also:hair on the See also:head, flanks and tail, and, in the centre, a See also:peculiar See also:pale See also:oval marking. There is no other See also:fur that is so thick, and it is eminently suitable for sleighing rugs, for which purpose it is highly prized in See also:Canada. The musk-ox inhabits the See also:north See also:part of See also:Greenland and part of Canada, but in very limited See also:numbers. Value Ios. to 130s.
