He began by engaging in Mediterranean See also:trade, and afterwards settled down in London, amassing a large See also:fortune. He was a member of the See also:committee of the See also:East See also:India See also:Company and of the See also:standing See also:commission on trade appointed in 1622. In 1621 Mun published A Discourse of Trade from See also:England unto the East Indies.
