Wembley adjoins See also:Sudbury on the See also:east; the district is residential, but lacks natural attractions except in the See also:case of Wembley See also:Park, a pleasant wooded recreation ground, owned by a See also:company. Here a See also:tower was begun on the lines of the Eiffel Tower in See also:Paris, and projected to exceed it in height, reaching 1200 ft., but only a See also:short See also:stage was completed. The See also:manor of Wembley belonged to the priory of Kilburn until that See also:foundation was dissolved by See also:Henry VIII.
