island of the See also:province of See also:Quebec, See also:Canada, situated in the Gulf of St See also:Lawrence, between 490 and 5o° N.., and between 61° 40' and 64° 3o' W., with a length of 135 M. and a breadth of 30 M. See also:Population 250, consisting chiefly of the keepers of the numerous lighthouses erected by the See also:Canadian See also:government. The See also:coast is dangerous, and the only two harbours, See also:Ellis See also:Bay and See also:Fox Bay, are very indifferent.
