It lies at the See also:foot of the See also:North See also:Downs in the pleasant valley of the See also:river See also:Mole. The See also:church of St See also:Mary and St See also:Nicholas See also:dates from the 14th See also:century. St See also:John's See also:Foundation School, opened in London in 1852, is devoted to the See also:education of sons of poor clergymen. Leatherhead has See also:brick-making and See also:brewing See also:industries, and the district is largely residential.
