WILLIAM (1594–1657) , Scottish writer, son of Sir William Mure of Rowallan, was See also:born in 1594. He was a member of the Scottish See also:parliament in 1643, and took See also:part in the See also:English See also:campaign of 1644. He was wounded at See also:Marston See also:Moor, but a See also:month later was commanding a See also:regiment at See also:Newcastle. He died in 16J7.
