In 1867 he was made a C.S.I., and in 1872 a See also:Knight of the See also:Bath. In 1873 he visited See also:England and received the freedom of the city of See also:London. Shortly afterwards he settled in England, and was made a See also:baronet in 1890. He died at See also:Brighton on the 24th of See also:October 1896.
