Here he began to issue the first of the See also:series of See also:guide-books with which his name is associated. They followed the See also:model of the See also:English series instituted by See also:John See also:Murray, but See also:developed in the course of years so as to See also:cover the greater See also:part of the civilized See also:world, and later were issued in English and See also:French as well as German. Baedeker's son Fritz carried on the business, which in 1872 was transferred to See also:Leipzig.
