Macomb is served by the See also:Chicago, See also:Burlington - & See also:Quincy, and the Macomb & Western Illinois See also:railways. The city is the seat of the Western Illinois state normal school (opened in 1902), and has a See also:Carnegie library and a city See also:park. See also:Clay is found in the vicinity, and there are manufactures of pottery, bricks, &c.
