In 1669 he became See also:canon of See also:Westminster, and in 1670 See also:rector of Uffington, See also:Lincolnshire. He was See also:chaplain to See also:Charles II. in 1676, See also:curate and lecturer at St See also:Margaret's, Westminster, in 1679, canon of See also:Windsor in 1681, See also:dean of Westminster in 1683 and See also:bishop of See also:Rochester in 1684.
