In 1583 he resigned his See also:post at Lich and moved to See also:Frankfort-on-the-See also:Main to See also:act as corrector and editor of Greek texts for the enterprising publisher Johann Wechel. To his Frankfort See also:period belong the See also:editions of See also:Pausanias, See also:Herodotus, See also:Dionysius of See also:Halicarnassus (one of his best pieces of See also:work and highly praised by See also:Niebuhr), See also:Aristotle, the Greek and Latin See also:sources for the See also:history of the See also:Roman emperors and the Hepi auve ews of See also:Apollonius Dyscolus. In 1591 he removed to See also:Heidelberg, where he became librarian to the elector See also:palatine.
