MAYORUNA , a tribe of See also:

They are a See also:fine See also:race, roaming the forests and living by See also:hunting. They cut their See also:hair in a See also:line across the forehead and let it hang down their backs. Many have See also:fair skins and beards, a peculiarity sometimes explained by their alleged descent from Ursua's soldiers, but this theory is improbable. They are famous for the potency of their See also:blow-See also:gun See also:poison. See also:MAYO-See also:SMITH, See also:RICHMOND (1854-1901), American economist, was See also:born in See also:Troy, See also:Ohio, on the 9th of See also:February 1854. Educated at See also:Amherst, and at See also:Berlin and See also:Heidelberg, he became assistant See also:professor of See also:economics at See also:Columbia University in 1877. He was an See also:adjunct professor from 1878 to 1883, when he was appointed professor of See also:political See also:economy and social See also:science, a See also:post which he held until his See also:death on the 11th of See also:November 1901. He devoted himself especially to the study of See also:statistics, and was recognized as one of the foremost authorities on the subject. His See also:works include See also:Emigration and See also:Immigration (1890); See also:Sociology and Statistics (1895), and Statistics and Economics (1899).
