See also:Cooper, organized the California See also:Kindergarten Training School (188o). She married, in 188o, See also:Samuel See also:Bradley Wiggin of San Francisco, who died in 1889. In 1895 she married See also:George See also:Christopher Riggs, but continued to write under the name of Wiggin. Her See also:interest in children's See also:education was shown in numerous books, some written in collaboration with her sister, in both See also:prose and See also:verse. But her See also:literary reputation rests rather on her See also:works of prose fiction, which show a real See also:gift for depicting See also:character and an See also:original vein of See also:humour. The best known of these are: The Birds' See also:Christmas See also:Carol (1888) ; See also:Penelope's See also:English Experiences (1893); Marm Lisa (1896); Penelope's Progress (1898), being Penelope's experiences in See also:Scotland; Penelope's Irish Experiences (1901); The See also:Diary of a See also:Goose-Girl (1902); and Rebecca of Sunnybrook See also:Farm (1903).
