She succeeded to the See also:throne on her father's See also:death, which took See also:place on the 23rd of See also:November 189o, but until her eighteenth See also:year, when she was " inaugurated " at See also:Amsterdam on the 6th of See also:September 1898, the business of the See also:state was carried on under the regency of the queen-See also:mother, in accordance with a See also:law made on the 2nd of August 1884. On the 7th of See also:February 1901 Queen Wilhelmina married See also:Henry Wladimir See also:Albert See also:Ernst, See also:duke of See also:Mecklenburg-See also:Schwerin (born on the 19th of See also:April 1876). To the See also:great joy of the Dutch See also:people, Queen Wilhelmina, on the 3oth of April 1909, gave See also:birth to an See also:heir to the throne, the Princess Juliana (Juliana See also:Louise Emma Maria Wilhelmina).
