He rendered further good service in See also:Vendee and in Italy, and was made a marshal by See also:Napoleon on the See also:assumption by the latter of the imperial See also:title in 1804. In 1807 Brune held a command in See also:North See also:Germany, but he was not afterwards employed during the First See also:Empire.
