He engaged See also:Gilbert See also:Burnet to write The See also:History of the See also:Reformation of the See also:Church of See also:England and provided him with much material. He was a See also:good See also:scholar and a keen student of biblical apocalyptic literature and himself " prophesied " to See also:Queen See also:Anne, See also:Robert Harley, See also:earl of Oxford, William See also:Whiston, and See also:John See also:Evelyn the diarist. Lloyd was a stanch supporter of the revolution. His See also:chief publication was An See also:Historical See also:Account of Church See also:Government as it was in See also:Great See also:Britain and See also:Ireland when they first received the See also:Christian See also:Religion (London, 1684, reprinted Oxford, 1842). He died at Hartlebury See also:castle on the 3oth of See also:August 1717.
