Hall, Liverpool. Cockerell's best conceptions were those inspired by classic See also:models; his essays in the Gothic—the See also:college at See also:Lampeter, for instance, and the See also:chapel at Harrow—are by no means so successful. His thorough knowledge of See also:Gothic See also:art, however, can be seen from his writings, On the Iconography of See also:Wells See also:Cathedral, and On the Sculptures of See also:Lincoln and See also:Exeter Cathedrals. In his See also:Tribute to the Memory of Sir See also:Christopher See also:Wren (1838) he published an interesting collection of the whole of Wren's See also:works See also:drawn to one scale.
