He experimented successfully with some polychrome busts and tinted See also:marbles, notably in the "See also:Rabbi's Daughter" and a portrait of See also:Miss Julia See also:Marlowe, the actress ; and he is at his best in his portrait busts of See also:women, the best example being the study, completed in 1887, of Miss A. V. See also:Pond, whom he afterwards married.
