He had command of the See also:fleet which was to have stopped See also:Henry Tudor's landing in 1485, but fought for Richard at See also:Bosworth and after the See also:battle fled to See also:sanctuary at See also:Colchester. Thence he escaped next See also:year to organize a dangerous revolt in See also:York-See also:shire. When that failed he fled to See also:Margaret of See also:Burgundy in See also:Flanders. As a chief See also:leader of the Yorkist party he had a foremost See also:part in See also:Lambert See also:Simnel's enterprise. With John de la See also:Pole, See also:earl of See also:Lincoln, he accompanied the pretender to See also:Ireland and fought for him at Stoke on the 16th of See also:June 1487. He was seen escaping from the battle, but was never afterwards heard of; See also:Bacon relates that according to one See also:report he lived See also:long after in a See also:cave or vault (Henry VII., p. 37, ed.

Lumby). More than 200 years later, in 1708, the See also:
