Sarah Taylor married in 1820 John Austin (q.v.). They lived in See also:Queen Square, See also:Westminster, where Mrs. Austin, whose tastes, unlike her See also:husband's, were extremely sociable, gathered See also:round her a large circle, See also:Jeremy See also:Bentham, James See also:Mill and the Grotes being especially intimate. She received many See also:Italian exiles, who found a real friend in her. In 1821 was bornher only See also:child, Lucie, afterwards See also:Lady See also:Duff-See also:Gordon.
